So this will probably only affect a few people, but I'm going to close commissions for maybe a month or so, just to change some stuff and because of current time constraints (basically I don't have a summer job, but I'm spending hours every day cataloging my grandma's book collection- like to put it into perspective, she has like 10+ bookshelves in her house, the smallest of which had 200+ books on it -_-' )
But basically what you can expect:
-raised prices. Hopefully it won't turn too many people away, but I'm thinking about raising them to $10 for 1 character and an additional $5 for every character afterwards (and Im changing this because I don't want to keep undervaluing my art, but the amount of time that it takes me to do every commission fluctuates too much for me to have an hourly rate)
-and increase in quality. Cause i'm really doing my best on every one, but I feel like they're usually not as good as my regular fanart because I'm more experimental with that sort of stuff (since im not being paid for it, I usually try more new stuff in my fanart, but I feel bad experimenting on a piece that someone's paying for). So my goal here is to make it so that there's not so much of a gap there.
*I'm also going to start experimenting more so that I can start doing things like nsfw commissions as well. cause im still such a shy baby about doing them*
-Better response times. this is a personal one, but oh man, I'm so bad at responding to things right away. Like I've never commissioned anyone so I have no idea what the usual response time for anything is, or how long commissions usually take, so I'll just try to be more efficient about this type of thing
But also, I just wanted to ask anyone who I've done commissions for if they had any feedback (or criticisms) for me? Cause I want to make it a better experience for everyone, but that's all moot point if Im not listening to what my commissioners are telling me

Sorry for the inactivity
(Do people still read these?)
Anyways, I'm sorry about the lack of activity on here. I used to be a lot better about updating my DA and I'm gonna try to get back to uploading something at least every few days
The Heavenly King Coco Contest
So I'm making stuff for a contest right now, centered around Coco from the anime/manga Toriko. Coco, the "Gentleman" of the group, is one of my favorite characters so it's been fun drawing him.

ShinSena and the Sports Anime Shipping Olympics
So, since i figured that there have got to be a few people on here who follow me and like shinsena (from eyeshield 21), i just wanted to let y'all know about this year's SASO. If you don't know what the SASO is, then there's a link at the bottom of this journal
(i can't really say too much about it since this would be my first time doing it myself)
Anywho, the point is that this year i made a team for Shinsena and right now we have 3 of the required 4 people needed for a team (4 is the min and 8 is the max) and the deadline for getting that 4th person is the 15th
So! if you like shinsena and want a chance to make really awesome shinsena-c
Just for this week
so since it's gonna be thanksgiving break soon and i'm going to have quite a bit of time off from school to do stuff like drawing and i know that i'm gonna run out of ideas of what to draw pretty fast, so i wanted to open up requests- just until the end of my thanksgiving break (which is the 28th i think- i don't really know)
so let's just say, from November 21 until the 28th i'll be taking requests.
+rules+
-Just 1 per person
-not more than 2 people in the picture (it can be canon characters, OCs or whatever)
-can be a romantic request but not sexual (in any way- that includes fetish art and more questionable subject matter)
-(so basic

Wow, I hope you're getting paid to go through that book collection, either in cash or in a number of books you may keep for yourself. Good luck with that project!
I also look forward to seeing your higher commission standards. Can't wait to see what comes our way!
